Patrick Ganthier "Killy"

Patrick Ganthier “Killy” was born on the 24th of October 1966 at Girardeau in the outskirts of Petion Ville, Haiti. In 1986, he began his studies drawing at the Art Center of Port-au-Prince under the direction of the painter Franck Louissaint and attended the workshop Kay Tiga (Jean-Claude Garoute) where he experimented the "artistic rotation".

It was then at the Montreal Circular Workshop in 2005 that Killy learned engraving and monotype. He also participated in numerous residencies and exhibitions in Martinique Mandinina (2002), Benin (2003), Montreal (2008) and Venice (2011). Killy lives and works in Haiti.
